OPTION 1:

After editing and saving your file as a new PDF, email it to dereimerdesign@gmail.com along with your invoice number and we will email you back a single high-resolution JPG file. This must be done within a reasonable time of purchasing the template from our Etsy shop. We will typically email the file back the same day. If we don't response within 48 hours, please contact us via Etsy conversation as our email provider places emails from new contacts in to our spam folder occasionally. This file can be used as an evite and to print at a photo lab or other 5x7 invitation template system.

OPTION 2: For both PC & Mac (best if there is a non-standard font in your invite)

  1. Before proceeding with creating your evite file, be sure that you have personalized the PDF template with your details using the instructions on our Edit My Item page.
  2. After saving your file as a new PDF, go to http://pdftoimage.com/. (NOTE: If your template was a Microsoft Word template, you will need to save it as a PDF file first by going to File>Save As Adobe PDF.) The blue highlight over the editable text will not show up when you use this website.
  3. Click on the teal "Upload Files" button.
  4. After the upload is complete. Click on the gray "Download All" button. This will give you the option to save the files to your system's downloads.
  5. Go into your PC/Mac and open the new JPEG file and use your system's photo editing software to crop down to one image. For PC, use the Photos software. For Mac, open the image in Preview and use the rectangular selection tool to crop down to one invite.

OPTION 3: For PC

  1. Before proceeding with creating your evite file, be sure that you have personalized the PDF template with your details using the instructions on our Edit My Item page.
  2. After saving your file as a new PDF, go to "Edit" and select "Preferences" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select "Forms" from the left-hand menu options.
  4. Beneath the "Hightlights" section of the Forms page, uncheck the "Show border hover color for fields" box. The blue highlighted areas will no longer be visible.
  5. Keep the PDF file open and then open your Snipping tool. The Snipping tool can be found by searching "Snipping tool" in your Windows Start search box or by going to "Start">"All Programs">"Accessories." Some older PCs may not have this tool. Use Option 1 if this is the case.
  6. With the Snipping tool popup box open on top of your open PDF file, click the "New" button. Make sure the "Rectangular Snip" is selected. The tool typically defaults to the "Rectangular" option.
  7. Follow the directions the Snipping tool provides. This is typically to drag a box around the area you want to turn into an evite/photo file.
  8. After you select your area, the Snipping tool will open this selected area in a new popup.
  9. Go to File>Save As and save your JPG file in a designated area. Be sure the file type is a JPG. Some PCs default saving images as PNG files.
  10. You may now send your JPG file via text, email, or on social media.
  11. To send via text, you will likely need to email the image from your PC to whichever email service you have on your phone. Download the image and save to your phone and then you will be able to text it to guests.

OPTION 3: For MAC

(Please note, Option 1 is best if there is a non-standard font in your invite as this option may change the non-standard font to a standard font.)

  4. Beneath the "Hightlights" section of the "Forms" page, uncheck the "Show border hover color for fields" box. The blue highlighted areas will no longer be visible.
  5. Close the PDF file and re-open the file in "Preview."
  6. Click the "File" menu and choose "Print."
  7. Select the "PDF" drop-down menu and click "Save PDF to iPhoto." Preview will automatically save each page of the PDF as a JPEG.
  8. Because there are two invitations per page, you will need to crop down the page to only show one invitation. This can be done in most photo editing software or on your phone.
  9. You may now send your JPG file via text, email, or on social media.
  10. To send via text, you will likely need to email the image from your Mac to whichever email service you have on your phone. Download the image and save to your phone and then you will be able to text it to guests.

For options 2 and 3, please note that the new JPEG file is only suggested for text, email, or social media use.

Although it may look clear on your screen, the resolution may not be high enough to print as a photo.

If you choose to print as a photo, please print one copy first to check for good resolution.

If you need a high-resolution for print, please choose option 1.
